Life on life’s terms-what does that mean?

Well it’s Sunday morning and I am feeling tired, run down and just generally not feeling my very best.

Those feelings used to have the power to send me into a downward spiral of self-pity and depression until I learned how powerful my mind could be.

Today, I know that the best thing I can do for myself is to stop, take a break from all my activities and allow my mind and body to REST. And that’s something I’ve had difficulty doing my whole life.

I have so many things that interest me and that I want to learn to do, but I need to remember to pace myself so that I can stay at my healthiest!!

I started this post a few weeks ago and didn’t get back in here to finish it, so that is what I’m doing tonight. It’s been a wonderful summer with the kids but as we approach the middle of August, it’s time to switch gears and prepare my little ones for Back-To-School!!

I’ve done this MANY times before and as excited as I am to get my days back, it’s bittersweet because it marks the end of preschool activities with my baby girl and although I know she is going to do brilliantly at school – I truly am going to miss my one-on-one time with her. : ( my baby girl is growing up and I’m getting really misty!!

I will get a lot of time to myself come September and I intend to put it to really good use, expanding on my journey of perpetual learning and continuing to build connections in my businesses and to renew my focus on personal health and fitness – guilt-free as the children will be in school full-time!

So as melancholy as I feel tonight, I’m excited to see what the next chapter of my life has in store for me – I just know it’s going to be FANTASTIC!! Hope you follow along as I go!!
